My Review & Ratings:
Chewy Chocolate Chip – 4.5 out of 5 - Chewy and are soft and truly taste a lot like Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough that I’d lick out from the bowl. These bars contain 20g of protein for only 200 calories, which is an especially good ratio. Many reviewers said they didn’t like the taste of these bars, but I don’t think they taste bad at all. A perfect post-workout snack!
Strawberry Shortcake – 4.5 out of 5 – Strawberry shortcake is good to similar to the blueberry. The strawberry filling tasted superb! I think the flavor is honestly a “hybrid” between Strawberry Shortcake & Strawberry Cheesecake. The innards of the bar was a bit like a protein-based cookie-dough consistency, and tasted like sweet Rice Crispies cereal. The yogurt topping simply sealed the deal and made this an irresistible bar for me.
**HIGHLIGHT – And my all-time FAVORITE Pure Protein Bar?
Blueberry Crumb Cake! Blueberry Crumb Cake! 5.0 out of 5 - Recently I discovered the Pure Protein Blueberry Crumb Cake bar and it is far and away my favorite these days. I much prefer their taste to any other Pure Protein bar. Plus, I get 18 grams of protein and only two grams of sugar for 190 calories. The blueberry crumble top is really tasty. It’s a puree of blueberry and sort of tastes like a fruit roll up, kind of sweet and tart. The bottom layer isn’t bad either, has a spice element to it, although occasionally I get a chemical taste which I really don’t like. All in all, I like them a lot. Taste is a personal thing, so what appeals to me might not appeal to you, but I think these bars are delicious. Naturally flavored Pure Protein Blueberry Crumb Cake Bars are loaded with 18 grams of high-quality protein and energy-supporting vitamins.
I definitely plan on buying these Pure Protein Bars at the grocery Store! In fact…I really want to try the “Peanut Butter Chocolate,” which I have heard tastes like a tootsie-roll, and I want to try the “S’Mores,” “Peanut Marshmallow Eclipse” and “Peanut Butter Caramel Surprise” flavors!
I highly recommend and endorse thes Pure Protein Bars! They have awesome PROTEIN, and amazing TASTE, and great NUTRIENTS!
